Geolocation Services

Geolocation Services are built in to the system, and play a key role in ensuring you and your customers stay up-to-date with where and when work is in progress.  The platform uses Google and other location services, from tablets and smartphones, to estimate arrival times for service calls, routing your technicians to job sites, tracking locations for clock-in and clock-out time card functions, and a location based dashboard with all your current projects and service calls.

An interactive dashboard map provides a view of all active projects and jobs across all teams and locations.  All maps within the platform are provided through Google, and includes all native functionality including, driving, street, satellite views as well as zoom in and out capabilities.

 

The location pins on the map are color coded to represent the team assigned, as well as additional details for the work site, as well as a link to the details stored within the platform.

Based on the capabilities of the user’s device, the timesheet administration screen provides users with a map displaying the location of the users device when the entry was made.

Notifications and alerts to your customers, employees, and sub-contractors via SMS and Email, can use location data to include information regarding travel and arrival times, as well as links to Google Maps for turn-by-turn directions to the work site.
